In order to translate knowledge into scalable action, NEA has initiatied activities, projects, partnerships that will level-up electric aviation in the Nordics. We also want to spread the word about regional electric aviation. We see it as a new way of transport. We want to build roads in heaven. All this different activities will be gathered here and presented as inpiration for you.

New business models for electric aviation in the Nordics
Air-taxi-on-demand, Public Service Obligation and High-end “business jet” are three new business models for electric airlines that could be introduced in the Nordics in the future. This is the main conclusion in a new report by the Nordic Network for Electric Aviation (NEA).

Statlige millioner til bergensk elfly
(Article in Norwegian) The Norwegian Research Council is providing 16 million Norwegian kroner to support the sea plane project of Elfly AS in Bergen, with plans to develop a full-scale prototype within three years, aiming to build and operate a fleet of electric sea planes with nine passenger capacity and a range of 250 kilometers.
